I have loved women and babies for as long as i can remember…

and now, as a Doula, i have the honor of Walking alongside women as they enter their mama era.

I was born and raised in Mississippi, where I met and married my husband, before moving to Oregon in 2018. We had our first baby, a rainbow baby, in 2021 — being a mama is my greatest joy in life. I have been a Doula since 2019, training with Doulas Of North America (DONA), and working alongside a fabulous non-profit Doula program here in the Mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon.

I love to craft, make jokes, cuddle my toddler when he lets me, read books, and wander throughout Oregon’s woods and coastlines. I’m an introvert and an enneagram 9, but I can be loud and fun, so don’t go confusing shy for quiet. haha

My goal as your Doula is to help you have the most satisfying birth experience possible by supporting you physically, emotionally, and educationally. As your Doula I will help you advocate for yourself so that you feel seen and heard by the medical staff, I will help support you physically as you progress in labor, and I will be there as an encouragement and champion for you and your partner throughout your journey. I love pampering women in labor, but I'm also there to be a Doula to the partner/spouse because it's a team effort. My goal is never to replace your labor support, but rather add to, direct, and encourage them.

Birth is often portrayed as such an intimidating event, but I want to help you see that it is a natural and beautiful process and that you and your body were designed for this! I believe that how we birth and whether or not we feel respected, has a dramatic impact on our postpartum period. My desire is that you start your postpartum journey with as little to no stress as possible so that you can enjoy those blissful, exhausting, and surreal newborn baby days as much as possible.

I would love to chat with you about birth and everything between, before, and after so that you have the most satisfying birth experience possible and begin (or continue) your journey of motherhood with confidence and courage.
