2 prenatal appointments to:
become acquainted
establish a birth plan and postpartum care
cover the basics of childbirth
practice comfort measures together
establish doula’s role and cover partner’s desires at the birth
2 postpartum appointments that cover:
processing your birth experience
feeding assistance and addressing any questions or concerns
referrals as needed or requested for you or for baby
discussing warning signs of PPD/PPA as well as
postpartum preeclampsiasleeping and newborn questions
assistance with baby wearing
In-person labor support:
on-call availability starting at 38 weeks gestation
text/call support from moment of hire through your postpartum period
support once you decide you want me to arrive, either at your home or at your birthing location
help with comfort measures, positioning, and creating a calm and safe environment
advocacy support during every stage of labor
up to 2 hours of support immediately following delivery
assistance with latching baby within the Golden Hour
Total Investment: $1,500
In certain cases I am able to bill the Oregon Health Plan and Pacific Source, via the Community Doula Program, if you are currently covered by either of those plans.
This would be at NO cost to you.
